Kobito / Pelteko Shoemaker Precision Leather Knife

Each unit purchased consist of one blade and one steel body as a set.  
The famous Pelteko / Kobito shoemaker leather precision knife. Its body is crafted from robust stainless steel and paired witha sturdy original PELTEKO brand knife. The Blade is held together firmly by pressure asserted when the steel body is compressed together.

The Pelteko blade is a high carbon based blade with excellent edge retention, the black patina on the body of the blade prevents corrosion.

A very well balanced knife that sits comfortably in your hand, the curvature of the body is ergonomically designed to add further comfort with grooves at the top of the finger rest portion (pictured in the gallery photos) for added grip.The tip at the back of the handle is great for marking out cutting lines on the leather. The rear tip is rounded to prevent unnecessary scratches or self-injury.

Overall an excellent leather precision knife for cutting out curves and complex patterns that are built to last. Excellent for crafters that prefer a lighter weight precision knife.

This knife measurements is as follows:

Stainless steel body – 15.5cm long and 1.8cm wide while holding a blade.

Blade – 14 cm long and 0.6cm wide

P.S. We personally find this precision knife great for artisans with smaller hands as its lightweight and has a very slender profile making it easier to wield.
